I know it’s been awhile. BUT, Cyndi got a new camera - Olympus Tough. Good in the cold down to 14 F - check! winter 2008, can withstand impacts on screen - check! summer 2010, and it can be submerged in water up to 10 feet - check! summer 2011. I think this is sufficiently Malcolm Proof. This camera also has some wicked photo features, like the “drawing” feature above.
